     The 2nd Annual Gaucho Track & Field Winter Crab Feed was a huge success.  Over $10,000.00 was raised to benefit UC Santa Barbara Track & Field.  200 guests enjoyed a fine meal including crab, pasta, chicken, and a caesar salad in UCSB's Corwin Pavilion.  A great line-up of entertainment included a slide show, a DJ (Tetlo Emmen an All-Conference 800m runner), Amy Haapanen (UCSB shot put record holder) playing flute, Kimi Sudbrink playing piano, Matt Yaokum singing and playing acoustic guitar, Brothas From Otha Mothas (an a cappella group including 800m runner DJ Ozan), and Naked Voices another a cappella group. 

     A special thank you goes to the student athlete coordinators David Monico (SR Distance), Sean Thomas-Bignami (SO Pole Vault), and Jasmine Washington (SR Sprints).  The Track & Field program would like to thank all those who attended and made generous donations to the event.
